This is my fourth year teaching First Grade here at Westchester, and I absolutely love it!  I am a Kirkwood graduate myself, so of course I am a big believer in the district.  After high school, I went to MIZZOU to get my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education.  I also have a masters degree in Special Education with an emphasis in inclusion.

    I am married to a wonderful man named John.  We live in a house in Maplewood with our two dogs Cody and Shaw.  We enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, traveling, and running.  I enjoy reading for pleasure, but I think my favorite author will forever be Dr. Seuss.  There’s just something about the way those words flow, or maybe it’s the childhood memories they bring back...

    This year I am also a Girls on the Run coach, which is an after school running program for 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade girls here at Westchester.
